How Much Does a Stretch Ceiling Cost in Dubai?
2 June 2026 · 5 min read

A stretch ceiling is priced per square metre, but two rooms of the same size can cost very differently. Before you compare quotes, it helps to understand the handful of factors that actually move the price — so you can judge whether a quote is fair and spec the ceiling that fits your budget.
What affects the price of a stretch ceiling?
- Finish: matte and satin are the most economical; gloss/lacquer, translucent and printed membranes cost more.
- Lighting: a plain ceiling is cheaper than one with backlighting, fiber-optic 'starlight' or integrated linear profiles, which add materials and labour.
- Area and shape: larger areas lower the per-square-metre rate, while curves, multi-level designs and tricky perimeters increase it.
- Access and site conditions: ceiling height, scaffolding, and whether services (wiring, AC) need to be concealed all factor in.
- Membrane brand and certification: fire-rated, A+ emission-certified German membranes cost more than uncertified imports — and are worth it.
Why we quote per project, not per metre online
Publishing a single 'per square metre' figure would be misleading — it can't account for your finish, lighting and site. Instead, we offer a free site visit, measure accurately, and give you a clear, itemised quote with no obligation. That way you pay for exactly what your space needs.
How to get the best value
- Decide your finish and lighting first — these drive most of the cost.
- Group rooms into one project where possible to lower the per-metre rate.
- Ask for the membrane's fire rating and certifications in writing.
- Get the quote itemised so you can compare like-for-like.
